Lead Manager, Assortment Insights at Walmart

Position Overview:

In this position, you will serve as the comprehensive assortment consultant to Merchants, contributing to category space strategies by examining Walmart's extensive data resources to provide actionable recommendations. You will collaborate closely with leaders across merchandising, product development, and engineering teams.

Your contributions will include:

  • Formulating strategic insights – Evaluate category performance metrics and space efficiency to guarantee optimal category space allocations across all retail locations. Address specific details, such as fixture types and compliance, through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Utilizing analytical tools – Work alongside internal team members to leverage automation tools to enhance efficiencies in modular and floor plan analysis and design. Guide a team of associates in meeting modular and floor plan standards to ensure quality of work aligns with critical timelines.
  • Establishing strategic partnerships: Foster internal relationships with merchants and cross-functional leaders to achieve unified objectives for the organization. Promote cohesive strategies at the store level by collaborating with internal teams, including merchandise operations.
  • Exemplifying operational excellence – Lead by example in managing key performance indicators, delivering high-quality results, presenting at various organizational levels, and fostering personal and professional development for yourself and others.
