Job Description

This role provides interfaces with the business lines to lead the development and implementation of supplier relationship and performance management in categories supporting Asset Services, C&W Services, and Global Occupier Services in the Americas.

The primary responsibility of this position is to drive and ensure a robust preferred supplier program within the assigned categories to drive value for our clients.

Implements the organization's strategy by ensuring the highest level of client service through preferred suppliers. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of procurement contributions. Develops major goals to support the organizations strategy.

Based on the background of the selected candidate, this role will manage one or more of the following categories:

  • Fleet management
  • HVAC
  • UPS/generator
  • Fire life and safety
  • Elevators

Significantly impacts the results of our service lines aligned to both medium and long-term functional goals. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Becomes a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on the categories.
  • Removes roadblocks to enable the delivery of procurement and client account goals.
  • Promotes compliance with C&W's code of conduct.
  • Establishes category plans and strategy to ensure the right solution for C&W business lines.
  • Drives EBITDA growth through C&W's preferred suppliers.
  • Incorporates industry best practices into category delivery.
  • Utilizes demand planning to target value from supplier agreements, works with business lines to gather plans.
  • Monitors preferred supplier utilization, builds roster to ensure capability to deliver across the service line portfolios, and monitors performance to ensure capability to meet account needs.
  • Ability to develop and understand data analytics, to mine data to drive in-depth analysis of client 3rd party spend.
  • Ensure effective commercial arrangements.
  • Executes preferred supplier on-boarding, including updating Resource, Workday, billing administration, contract repository, etc.

  • Facility, Construction and Project Management category specific knowledge.

  • Interface with all levels in the organization.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 3-7 years of facilities category management or relevant experience.
Certifications
  • Professional certifications preferred e.g., CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M., or evidence of continued professional growth.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $93,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year.
