About the Role

United Airlines is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our Cybersecurity and Digital Risk (CDR) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the Identity and Access Management (IAM) vision and roadmap, leading operational aspects of CIAM, and developing strategies to enhance program operations, reduce incidents, and improve response times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement IAM Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IAM strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Lead CIAM Operations: Oversee the operational aspects of CIAM, including incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Mentor and Lead a Team: Mentor and lead a team of operations specialists and engineers, ensuring high-quality services align with CIAM objectives.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Engage with partners, IT teams, and business units to ensure operational integration meets program goals.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and incident management effectiveness.
  • Report on Metrics: Report on metrics to drive improvements in CIAM operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics: A bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
  • 9+ Years of Experience in STEM Fields: 9+ years of experience in STEM fields with at least 5 years in Identity and Access Management.
  • ITIL Processes: Experience in ITIL processes, particularly incident, problem, and change management.
  • Deep Understanding of IAM Technologies: A deep understanding of IAM technologies, controls, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of IAM Principles: Knowledge of IAM principles in a cloud-first environment.
  • Familiarity with Regulations: Familiarity with PCI, SOX, EU-GDPR regulations for IAM.
  • Ability to Influence Technology Teams: Ability to influence technology teams for a seamless employee identity experience.
  • Superb Communication and Leadership Skills: Superb communication and leadership skills.
  • Legally Authorized to Work in the United States: Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
