Position Overview
Excel Talent Solutions is representing a prominent global consumer goods organization that specializes in producing trusted household products. We are currently seeking a seasoned professional for the role of Cybersecurity Operations Manager.

Role Summary
The Cybersecurity Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization's cybersecurity initiatives. Reporting directly to the Director of Information Security, this leader will oversee the establishment and management of a Security Operations Center (SOC) and will be responsible for various cyber programs, including Continuous Monitoring, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and account for all critical technology assets.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of events across the technology landscape.
  • Oversee the remediation of vulnerabilities identified through regular assessments.
  • Prioritize risk mitigation efforts based on threat intelligence insights.
  • Lead incident response efforts for cybersecurity events.
  • Foster a culture of information security and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with over 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity Management. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or Cloud Security are advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex information security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with hybrid multi-cloud environments, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and on-premises solutions.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing effective cyber-defense programs, leveraging managed security service providers.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, ISO 2700x, and COBIT in the context of cybersecurity.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
