Position Overview

As a Cybersecurity Compliance Program Manager at Invenergy, you will oversee a dedicated team tasked with managing NERC cybersecurity standards and internal governance for energy production facilities. This position demands a high level of technical knowledge and the capability to work collaboratively with various departments in our corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the comprehensive planning, coordination, and implementation of compliance oversight and internal governance
  • Offer expertise on information technology security, network infrastructure, and operational protocols
  • Work closely with IT Infrastructure and Corporate Security teams to ensure that security measures comply with NERC CIP standards
  • Regularly update and refine NERC CIP policies and procedures to align with evolving security technologies
  • Mentor junior team members and provide NERC training to both internal and external audiences
  • Keep abreast of developments in the utility sector and cybersecurity landscape through industry benchmarking
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics for the program
  • Perform other related duties as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
  • Over 7 years of technical experience in IT/OT environments
  • At least 5 years of experience in program and personnel management
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to work autonomously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Nuance Power PDF
  • Familiarity with firewall, networking, and vulnerability assessment technologies
  • Willingness to travel as necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of NERC regulations
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
  • Excellent organizational and communication capabilities
