Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Day Wireless Systems. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining wireless communications equipment in the field and shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Perform installations of wireless communications equipment, security cameras, and low-voltage cable, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company guidelines.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain positive customer relationships and provide excellent communication skills to interface with customers in fluent English.
  • Technical Skills: Possess good technical skills, including configuration and basic understanding of small networks, routers, hubs, and networks.
  • Inventory and Assembly: Inventory and assemble parts prior to installation work to ensure correct parts are available on the truck.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel, which may include local, daily travel or overnight travel.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Electrical EL06 license or higher, with at least one year of experience in Residential/Commercial Electrical or Low Voltage installs.
  • Certifications and Skills: Prior CCTV or equivalent experience, including installation, programming, cabling, and troubleshooting, as well as knowledge of analog and IP cameras, DVRs/NVRs, access control, and security alarms.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb ladders and carry up to 75 lbs, with a valid driver's license and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screenings.
