Job Overview

Analytica is seeking a Business Analyst to engage with project teams and stakeholders in a remote capacity. The primary focus will be on gathering, documenting, and evaluating business requirements, processes, and workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in translating business needs into functional specifications for technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for business growth
  • Support project management efforts for selected initiatives
  • Collaborate with project teams to enhance productivity, assess business processes, and develop structured requirements
  • Break down roadmap features into manageable user stories
  • Engage with stakeholders to communicate and validate requirements
  • Conduct data discovery, analysis, and modeling
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance for the supported agencies
