Position: Business Analyst

OCT Consulting, LLC is a recognized SBA-certified, 8(a) small business specializing in management and technology consulting services for Federal Government clients. Our expertise spans various domains including Strategy, Process Enhancement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Procurement, and Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Business Analyst to assist the CISA Cybersecurity Division (CSD). The CSD is at the forefront of national efforts to bolster the security, resilience, and workforce capabilities of the cyber ecosystem, ensuring the protection of essential services. The selected candidate will collaborate with federal clients to identify, document, and analyze business and system requirements and processes. This role is contingent upon contract award.

Core Duties:

  • Thoroughly document all essential processes and systems.
  • Engage with government entities to gather and evaluate business requirements for IT systems, processes, and policies.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations for the development and execution of government programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations, policies, and standards throughout all business analysis activities and deliverables.
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of government projects by documenting requirements, formulating project plans, and enhancing communication among stakeholders.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • At least 10 years of experience supporting organizations in business process documentation, strategy, and data analysis, with a strong understanding of business and system requirements.
  • A Master's degree in a related discipline.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including PowerPoint, Visio, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A current DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000, based on experience and qualifications.
