Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Staff III – Policy Analyst to support the USSF PMA Human Resources Policy, Strategy Development, and Execution in Washington DC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, and overseeing the implementation of personnel policies, guidance, programs, and legislative initiatives.
  • Develop and integrate strategic narratives to communicate and advocate the USSF resource allocation plan, program objectives memorandum, strategies, concepts, requirements, and partnering to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide senior executive administrative support, including task management, orientation, product generation, calendar management, and familiarization with MilPDS, DTS, PRDA, IMR, CCAR, and AcqDemo.
  • Familiarize yourself with US Air Force Reserves and Active Duty, military and civilian personnel actions, accessions, recruiting, assignments, benefits, joint talent development, compensation, career development, leave, promotions, etc.
  • Assist in advising the Chief Human Capital Officer on congressional liaison and engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree mandatory, plus 10 years (15 years preferred) of experience in office administration, personnel, policy, analysis, MS Office Suite; prior military Personnel Systems Management (PSM) training/background highly desired and/or background in systems integration/programming, or equivalent experience/responsibility.
  • Ability to research and draft talking points, briefing documents; strong verbal, communication, and written skills; ability to create and edit written correspondence.
