Compensation: $57,000-$62,000 Annually
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing social, recreational, and spiritual activities tailored to residents with various psychological, physical, and cognitive needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation or a related human service field; or completion of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • At least two (2) years of management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and meet organizational standards for operating a company vehicle.
  • Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, and prepare reports.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and schedules.
  • Experience in teaching and training on internet usage and familiarity with computer programs.
  • Minimum one year of experience in activities programming, with knowledge of Alzheimer's and related memory loss.
  • Proficient in using computers and electronic devices for documentation and timekeeping.
  • Ability to meet the requirements outlined in Essential Functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive lifestyle plan for residents, including monthly activity schedules and maintaining necessary supplies. Activities may include exercise, arts and crafts, educational sessions, and outings.
  • Oversees and trains staff in executing programs designed for specific areas of focus, in collaboration with administrative personnel.
  • Manages departmental budgets on a monthly and yearly basis.
  • Participates in training sessions offered by the National Services office or other relevant organizations.
  • Responsible for the IN2L (It's Never 2 Late) system and training residents on its use.
  • Coordinates volunteer recruitment, training, and recognition efforts.
  • Creates and distributes a monthly newsletter for residents and their families.
  • Conducts monthly resident Activity Committee meetings and participates in resident council meetings.
  • Builds partnerships within the community to secure donations and discounted programs for residents.
