Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties related to transportation operations, including coordinating with drivers, managing delivery documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure the transportation department has the necessary materials and equipment to perform daily operations.
- Support the transportation team with various administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, distributing driver pouches, and organizing delivery documentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the transportation department.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong understanding of geography and logistics principles.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
