Position Overview:
The Direct-to-Consumer Technology division is in search of a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee comprehensive testing processes for the Peacock International Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete testing lifecycle, ensuring effective delivery aligned with the Peacock Technology Roadmap.
  • Develop and nurture essential relationships with technology teams and testing leads to implement industry-standard tools for planning and executing tests at various levels.
  • Coordinate the efforts of QA Engineers and Specialists to facilitate end-to-end testing across multiple platforms, including mobile and smart devices.
  • Design and manage test plans, providing accurate forecasts of QA resources and effort estimations for deliverables.
  • Engage in Technical Development Analysis (TDA) meetings to strategize QA efforts and establish timelines for feature delivery.
  • Act as a key liaison among development, program, systems, and QA teams to refine QA processes tailored for the organization.
  • Drive alignment on testing priorities and scope, proactively resolving issues with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the classification and triage of defects, ensuring effective prioritization and resolution.
  • Report on test execution status to relevant managers, ensuring all project deliverables are verified and approved.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, facilitating internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Support testing during production deployments, aligning expectations among various stakeholder teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and familiarity with testing management tools.
  • Experience collaborating with remote or international teams.
  • Proficient in using Confluence and managing JIRA boards.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle, particularly in streaming media applications.
  • Familiarity with popular Connected Device/OTT platforms.
  • Understanding of project management principles to support program delivery.
  • Experience in developing test plans and coordinating QA/UAT with functional teams.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and solutions.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and logging tools.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Prior experience in desktop, mobile, and connected device development.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of agile and DevOps principles.
  • Experience in testing commerce, infrastructure, and security is advantageous.
  • A passion for digital media platforms and the entertainment industry.
  • Enjoyment of fast-paced work environments.
  • Experience in defining and maintaining automation frameworks is a plus.
