In this pivotal role, you will:


  • Oversee all new product launch initiatives and serve as the primary Quality Liaison for key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Integrate ITAR Quality Engineering responsibilities into your role.

Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Implementing quality engineering practices during product development to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Documenting, communicating, and executing quality deliverables as per internal protocols, customer specifications, and industry benchmarks for assigned advanced program materials.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns related to your assigned responsibilities, utilizing methodologies such as 8-D's, 8-Steps, and 5 Whys.
  • Establishing and monitoring program PPAP submissions, including documentation such as Design Records, Engineering Change Documents, and Control Plans.
  • Reviewing engineering inputs for assigned advanced program materials to ensure compliance with expectations and quality standards.
  • Managing discrepancies in supplier sample submissions for new or modified advanced program materials.
  • Coordinating and preparing necessary documentation to ensure customer submissions are accurate and complete.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of all activities as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Technology Control Plan and Federal Export Control Policy.

Qualifications:


A 4-year engineering degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in quality assurance is acceptable.

Prior experience in quality assurance is essential, with knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and proficiency in MS Excel. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to engage with personnel at all organizational levels.


Familiarity with the following tools is advantageous:

  • MS Office Suite
  • JD Edwards
  • GageTrak

Equipment proficiency includes:

  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Multimeters
  • Gauges

Compensation: Salary range is between $90,000 and $100,000, based on various factors including education, experience, and specific job responsibilities.
