Your Role:
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will:
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies and execution plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gain a profound understanding of our products and technology assets to ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Lead a team of test managers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring consistency across initiatives.
  • Collaborate with application architects and operations teams to design effective test infrastructures.
  • Work closely with software, infrastructure, and QA engineers to achieve optimal code quality.
  • Engage with Product Owners and Release Train Engineers to assess test scenarios, validate outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Design and implement quality metrics, analyze data to identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Guide engineering teams in enhancing automation and testing practices within a Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (CD/CI) framework.
  • Explore and integrate innovative testing technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in quality and test engineering, particularly within the Financial Services sector.
  • Solid background in various testing methodologies including test-driven development, functional testing, and regression testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as HP Quality Center, Selenium, and IBM Rational.
  • Ability to utilize quality scanning tools and interpret metrics to enhance ongoing quality standards.
  • Experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium and REST APIs.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to influence without direct authority.
