Position Overview:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for evaluating requirements and specifications to establish testing conditions. This role involves crafting test cases and scripts that align with predetermined criteria, while meticulously documenting and reporting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans.
  • Create test cases and scripts by analyzing business requirements, ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Conduct back-end testing using complex SQL queries in Oracle, and develop regression suites utilizing a Python automation framework.
  • Engage with team members and users to define workflow specifics and application programming interfaces (APIs) for automated script development.
  • Analyze test results, log defects in JIRA, and collaborate with project teams to resolve and retest identified issues.
  • Document, maintain, and report test status using tools such as ALM, JIRA, and qTest.

Technical Skills:

Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse testing, including:

  • Oracle database technologies, with proficiency in writing complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data validation.
  • Business Intelligence testing using Qlikview and Cognos.
  • Analysis of source systems, staging areas, and fact and dimension tables in target data warehouses.
  • Automated testing using Python frameworks (Datacompare), Pandas, and Selenium.
  • API testing with tools such as Postman, SOAPUI, and GraphQL.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of five years of experience in the areas outlined above.
