Albany Area Primary Health Care seeks a highly skilled Human Resource Director to administer the organization's benefit and personnel programs. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource person for all aspects of benefits and personnel policies, ensuring timely dissemination of new or revised policies to all staff.
The Human Resource Director will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for administering the Clinic Benefits Program, managing the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and coordinating and supervising AAPHC Personnel functions at the clinic level.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, with three years of demonstrated management and/or supervisory skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to establish effective working relationships with employees and administration, are essential.
The Human Resource Director will be responsible for designing, recommending, implementing, and administering employment, recruitment, placement, and transfer programs in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action laws and guidelines.
The successful candidate will also participate in job fairs, college recruitment, and support programs to allow students to volunteer in the clinics. They will direct the planning, strategic goals, and objectives of the human resources department and assist with the annual preparation and monitoring of AAPHC's personnel budget.
The Human Resource Director will oversee orientation procedures for new employees, employee exit procedures, and monitor employee turnover. They will also supervise HR Generalist & Recruitment Specialist and monitor the payroll system and process.
The ideal candidate will maintain personal professional development by participating in educational seminars to obtain updates in the field, as well as professional affiliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer the Clinic Benefits Program
- Manage the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
- Coordinate and supervise AAPHC Personnel functions at the clinic level
- Design, recommend, implement, and administer employment, recruitment, placement, and transfer programs
