In addition, the incumbent will support the ECC supervisor in organizing and documenting training sessions, maintaining training records, coordinating educational programs, and serving as the agency ATAC.
This role is also expected to assist as a telecommunicator, providing coverage as necessary, which may include occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.
The **Administrative Support Coordinator** will be trained and proficient in all ECC program operations.It is essential for the employee to maintain a valid DCI certification and complete annual in-service training along with any additional required certifications.
Responsibilities also include managing the agency's motor fleet, which involves invoicing, billing, and coordinating maintenance activities. The individual in this role is expected to uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion in all matters.This position is classified as essential personnel.

**Employment Duration**: 12 Months

**Minimum Qualifications**: A high school diploma or equivalent along with one year of relevant office experience; or a comparable combination of training and experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**: A Bachelor's Degree coupled with 3-5 years of experience in administrative and office management is highly desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with various office technologies such as Word, Excel, Access, Google Suite, Adobe, PowerPoint, and website management, along with a willingness to learn, are also preferred.
Familiarity with the Banner system is a plus.
The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is essential.
Previous experience in higher education and emergency communications dispatch is beneficial.
Candidates must be a Notary Public in North Carolina or be able to obtain such certification.
**Work Schedule**: Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. However, to accommodate departmental needs, flexibility for evenings, weekends, mandatory staffing days, or early mornings may be required.
