Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst

In this pivotal role, you will provide support to the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) Office of Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) G-2 Information Management (IM) Directorate, also known as the Department of the Army Military Intelligence – Information Management (DAMI-IM). The mission of DAMI-IM is to transform Army Intelligence into a Net-Centric, knowledge-driven community through the development of policy and management of Information Technology (IT) integration, networking, assurance, initiatives, and programs. You will contribute to achieving G-2's vision of empowering the Warfighter with intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct compliance assessments of computer security plans, perform risk evaluations, and validate security testing and audits.
  • Analyze and establish security requirements for information protection across enterprise systems and networks.
  • Assist in formulating security policies.
  • Evaluate the sensitivity of information and conduct vulnerability and risk assessments based on established sensitivity and information flow.
  • Audit complex new and existing information systems applications to ensure appropriate controls are in place, processing is efficient and accurate, and procedures comply with corporate standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts/Science, or a Master's degree preferred; additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Over 10 years of experience in protected information environments (e.g., SIPR, SAP, JWICS).
  • IAM Level III certification (CISM, CISSP (or associate), GSLC, or CCISO) recognized by DoD.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient knowledge of ICD 503 and the government's assessment and authorization process.
  • Current understanding of cloud-computing technologies and security related to Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
