Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Geospatial CAD Specialist. The successful candidate will be tasked with creating precise and detailed survey drawings and maps utilizing CAD software. This position requires collaboration with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure that all project specifications are fulfilled and that the final outputs comply with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive survey drawings, plats, and maps using AutoCAD or comparable CAD software, based on data gathered from field surveys, GPS information, and existing documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with field survey teams to interpret and convert field data into clear, detailed CAD representations.
  • Offer technical assistance to field survey teams, aiding in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to survey data and CAD applications.
Quality Assurance
  • Examine and verify all drawings for precision and compliance with project specifications and organizational standards prior to submission.
  • Process and evaluate survey data to produce accurate depictions of topographical features, boundaries, and other pertinent information.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and survey computation processing.
  • Experience with Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, utility route surveys, and construction staking is essential.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to land surveying and mapping.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy and precision in drafting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
