Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at TransPerfect. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities through various methods, including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, and professional directories.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including negotiating rates and deadlines, and educating them on the sales process.
  • Work closely with production to ensure that all projects are handled appropriately and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality, and customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry developments to provide valuable insights to clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of sales experience, preferably in a business development role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
