About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Supervisor to join our Mobility and Transportation practice at Burson North America. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting PR strategy and campaigns for a global automotive account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as day-to-day client-facing lead on our automotive account, supporting workstreams working with client contacts and internal teams to execute brand campaigns, product launches, and community engagements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key broadcast, business, lifestyle, and automotive trade media contacts, prepared to create compelling narratives supporting product sustainment, awareness, community engagements, and events.
  • Develop press releases and external and internal materials and tool kits.
  • Staffing and project management coordination for events across the US.
  • Support client strategy and planning, displaying creativity and innovation forward as value adds to client service and team culture.
  • Demonstrate passion and subject matter expertise for automotive as well as the mobility and transportation sectors in general—aware and informed on new trends and developments.
  • Ability to synthesize information concisely in order to deliver timely and relevant insights to support client objectives and metrics around outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' PR/strategic communications experience; with ideally 2 of those years spent within an agency environment (preferred).
  • Subject matter expertise and experience in PR brand communications in the automotive sector.
  • Ability to showcase a firm grasp of the automotive media landscape and a solid bench of key media contacts.
  • Experience working on integrated PR campaigns from an earned perspective with deep media relations track record (broadcast, print, and digital).
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a complex, multi-agency environment in-person and remotely.
  • Professionalism, poise, and confidence participating in a variety of situations including client presentations and events.
