**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Planner to join our Integrated Planning team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of transportation and urban mobility.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage planning projects related to multi-modal transportation, transit planning, future mobility, and de-carbonization.
  • Develop high-quality project deliverables, including print and web documentation and presentations.
  • Represent Arup to clients and local communities through presentations and meetings.
  • Support business development efforts to secure planning work and build client relationships.
  • Manage junior staff participating in project work.

**Requirements:**

  • Undergraduate or Master's degree in City and Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • 5-15 years of progressively responsible professional experience.
  • Portfolio of professional planning projects and a history of building relationships in the Los Angeles region.
  • Professional leadership demonstrated by publications, committee memberships, professional presentations, or other activities.
  • Professional qualification or engineering license in California, or AICP certification is desirable.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience managing projects with CEQA requirements, traffic capacity analysis, and micro simulation.
  • Travel demand modeling experience.
