Transportation Operations Manager

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Road Supervisor to oversee street operations and ensure safe and efficient transportation services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring street operations, conducting site checks, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Street Operations Monitoring: Conduct regular site checks and road observations to ensure compliance with client and local policy requirements.
- Site Checks and Reporting: Document findings and provide necessary reports to project staff to ensure timely and accurate information.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct wheelchair securement and vehicle cleanliness checks on in-service vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Customer Service: Provide customer information to site personnel and at key locations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Incident Response: Respond to accidents and incidents, assist in managing the situation, and collect required information to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Shift Coverage: Fill vacant shifts as necessary to ensure full service delivery and meet operational requirements.
- Gate Checks: Conduct gate checks at pull-out or pull-in times to ensure on-time service and proper completion of necessary paperwork.
- Rerouting and Safety: Identify potential rerouting required due to traffic, construction, or accident situations, and ensure all operators are fit for duty and meet uniform and equipment standards.
- Operator Support: Assist operators with service or passenger problems, and provide feedback to safety and operations departments on service items that affect safety and performance.
- Accident Investigation: Assist in determining the preventability of accidents and incidents, and make recommendations for future training based on individual events or system trends.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: Certifications according to local contract requirements.
- Experience: Previous passenger transportation experience in a similar environment required.
- Skills: Excellent safety and service record, knowledge of local training programs and operations, and ability to manage emergency situations.
