Alstom Gruppe is seeking a highly experienced General Manager Mobilization to lead the mobilization and transition of our contract services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the contractor's performance to ensure a smooth transition to the new contract services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Mobilization Effort: Develop and implement a comprehensive mobilization plan to fulfill the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Contractor Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between the contractor and Alstom Gruppe, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Mobilization Status and Progress Meetings: Attend weekly meetings with key Alstom Gruppe staff to discuss mobilization status and progress.
- Authority Board Meetings: Attend Authority Board meetings as required to ensure alignment and coordination.
- Develop and Execute Workforce Retention and Training Plans: Develop and execute plans to retain and train the workforce, ensuring compliance with labor protection and 13c requirements.
- Contract Deliverables: Oversee the development and submission of contract deliverables necessary to successfully start services.
- DBE Requirements: Ensure that all DBE requirements are established and successfully initiated.
- Asset Condition Surveys: Oversee asset condition surveys, inventory, and transfer to the contractor, developing a collaborative working relationship with the incumbent contractor.
- 20 Years of Experience: Broad and deep experience covering most facets of railroad operations, maintenance, contract and project management, material and subcontract services procurement.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven management experience and skills in managing subcontract, supplier, vendor contracts to achieve best value, favorable life cycles, high-quality products and services in a timely manner.
- Labor Relations Experience: Experience in labor contract negotiations, resolving grievances, and managing operations and maintenance in complex railroad networks.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Alstom Gruppe offers a competitive salary range of $108,000.00 to $162,000.00 depending on experience and qualifications.
