QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of agricultural machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
  • Replace worn or damaged components, including bearings, gears, and seals.
  • Utilize computer diagnostic tools for tractor repairs.
  • Employ torch and welding techniques for cutting, brazing, and welding as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and comply with environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and maintenance activities for service reports and warranty purposes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with entry-level to four years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel objects, tools, and controls, and to reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

COMPENSATION

Wage Range: $31.00 to $38.00

Compensation is based on knowledge, skills, and the ability to fulfill job responsibilities.
