Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide support to our Executive Director and Operations Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong background in administrative and event management, with a focus on providing exceptional support to senior leaders. The role will involve coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements, as well as providing logistical support for our largest annual event, the Awardee Retreat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and data management.
  • Coordinate events, including the Awardee Retreat, team sprints, and new Awardee Onboarding.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars.
  • Manage the Executive Director's calendar, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
  • Provide logistical support for events, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of administrative and event management experience.
  • Experience coordinating meetings and events for senior leaders.
  • Past experience in environmental or philanthropic organizations.
  • Strong writing, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and other workplace software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $64,000-$76,000.
  • A generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 20 days paid vacation, and 11 days paid sick leave.
  • A 35-hour workweek, with a reduced hour workweek option available.
  • A 401k plan with 6% employer contribution.
