About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our eMobility Parking direct sales team at ABM Industries. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with various business clients in the eMobility Parking segment, including parking garages, retail establishments, restaurants, hospitals, doctor's offices, entertainment venues, and commercial real estate.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the eMobility Parking industry and its challenges. They will be able to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve profitability, growth, and market penetration, while working closely with the ABM Industries leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by selling EV hardware, software, and services to defined business channels across North America
  • Work closely with the ABM Industries leadership team to drive results and achieve sales goals
  • Manage financial sales reports, annual planning, and quarterly forecasting
  • Meet and exceed revenue and quota for assigned channels
  • Assist in developing solutions for clients and building strong business partnerships
  • Work cooperatively across organizational lines in a dynamic and demanding work environment
  • Verbalize a strong conviction in the use of a structured sales process
  • Accompany engineers and estimators on customer appointments to drive sales
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with clients to gain their trust and deliver value-added services
  • Build financial and life cycle analyses to quantify value from the customer's perspective and generate impactful proposals that lead to signed contracts
  • Participate in sales and industry training and convert that training to sales results
  • Coordinate with operations team members to ensure customer needs are met
  • Participate in weekly one-on-one performance reviews with leadership team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, but additional experience working in the EV or Parking Industry will be considered in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years proven outside sales experience selling a commercial service offering and/or solutions
  • Previous experience in the Energy Solutions or EV industry is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Natural 'hunter' sales mentality, goal-driven, and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated record of success in selling services or other intangible business offerings to end-users
  • Self-disciplined, results-driven, and accustomed to winning sales awards through consistent high performance
  • Financial acumen and experience selling business solutions to building owners or C-Level
  • Strong leadership and team-building qualities required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or other CRM)
  • Valid Driver's License is required
