As a Salesforce Solutions Engineer II, you will collaborate with a diverse team comprising Database, DevOps, Software, QA engineers, and Technical Project Management to enhance the development and upkeep of Salesforce solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable solutions to ensure continuous operation and improvement, while prioritizing the overall user experience.
- Take full ownership of identifying solutions to complex problems, driving towards straightforward yet elegant outcomes.
- Review existing solutions with the Salesforce Architect to address technical debt and update critical projects.
- Debug, trace, and profile existing solutions to guarantee uptime and maintainability.
- Collaborate with application developers, users, operational leadership, and subject matter experts to comprehend current and future operational objectives.
- Contribute to all phases of the Salesforce development and release lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
- Exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative, demonstrating integrity and innovative qualities.
About You:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience).
- Exceptional Salesforce development skills, including Apex code/classes, Visualforce, REST, SOAP, APIs, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or as a programmer analyst (including Salesforce).
- Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce, including Sales and Service Cloud experience in a structured QA development environment, covering development, staging, production, or similar deployment cycles.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Governor limits and CRM best practices.
- Proficient in designing, coding, testing, debugging, packaging, and deploying quality, scalable, and well-documented solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Proven success with at least two integration projects.
- Experience with Salesforce declarative programming, including change sets, test code, Salesforce API framework, third-party APIs, assignment rules, validation rules, visual workflow, process builder, custom reports, Apex REST API, and Developer Console.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Migration, Design System, and Components.
- Ability to utilize out-of-the-box SFDC functionality as well as create custom solutions using Web Service and Apex programming, App-Exchange packages, and custom applications.
- Strong understanding of how to integrate data from multiple external sources and leverage it within the CRM environment.
- Excellent oral and written documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to deliver reliable code.
- You will also be encouraged to share ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate on various projects within the team's portfolio that may extend beyond your domain expertise.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Marketing Cloud and/or CPQ is a plus.
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Jitterbit, MuleSoft) is beneficial.
- Platform Developer II certification is a plus.
- Experience in an agile Scrum environment is preferred.
