Key Responsibilities

The role of Specialty Infrastructure Engineering encompasses the upgrade of hardware essential for the maintenance of cloud services, networking, telecommunications, and addressing any connectivity challenges that may arise. This includes identifying system and application malfunctions and ensuring seamless data and voice communication across the organization.

An Experienced Professional applies practical expertise typically gained through advanced education and extensive work experience.

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Working autonomously with general oversight.
  • Tackling challenging yet manageable problems.
  • Influencing peers within the job area through clear explanations of facts, policies, and practices.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
  • Cisco CCNP certification (active or expired).
  • Successful completion of a lab assessment demonstrating layer 2 and layer 3 functions, along with foundational knowledge of Nexus switching.
  • Proficient in BGP routing and experienced with Cisco switches, both Nexus and Catalyst.
  • Basic understanding of Nexus switching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Cisco/Fortinet Firewall.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Wireless and Juniper Mist Wireless.
  • Experience in configuring Juniper Routers.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE (2.x/3.x).
