Job Overview

Gold's Gym Washington is seeking a dedicated and energetic Kids Club Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide top-notch care for infants, engage toddlers in fun activities, and supervise older children in a safe and secure environment.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior childcare experience, and basic computer skills. You will also need to possess Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification, as well as the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or sit for up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of all children while in the Kids Club care
  • Provide primary care for infants, including feeding, changing, and soothing
  • Engage toddlers in independent and group activities, such as games, arts, and crafts
  • Serve as a direct supervisor for older children, ensuring their needs are met and they are engaged in activities
  • Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games, stories, and songs
  • Care for special needs children as needed, including securing them in equipment and providing individualized attention
  • Sanitize toys, play equipment, and maintain a clean and organized Kids Club area
  • Help plan age-appropriate activities on a weekly basis and ensure necessary paperwork is completed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Childcare experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification required
  • Ability to safely lift and hold children
  • Ability to setup play equipment and pick up toys
  • Must be able to communicate well with children and parents
Benefits
