LGBTQ+ Youth Advocate

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to co-facilitate our weekly support group for LGBTQ+ youth aged 11-18. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in your community and help create a safe space for these young people.
The ideal candidate will be available for 1-2 hours per week, preferably on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, to lead discussions and activities that promote self-expression, confidence, and empowerment.
As a facilitator, you will work closely with the group leaders to develop and implement engaging programs that address the unique needs of LGBTQ+ youth. Your role will involve facilitating support groups, providing mental health services and advocacy, and promoting strong families that are welcoming and inclusive.
This is a valuable opportunity to gain experience in youth development, social work, and community outreach. If you are passionate about supporting marginalized youth and have excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
