Mental Health Training Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Awareness Trainer to join our team at Lifeline Connections. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing mental health awareness training plans in accordance with contract requirements for SAMHSA. Your expertise in mental health first aid and youth mental health first aid evidence-based curriculum will be invaluable in facilitating trainings in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate all mental health awareness trainings in the community based on Mental Health First Aid and/or Youth Mental Health First Aid evidence-based curriculum;
- Establish and maintain relationships with clinics and hospitals, local service providers, first responders, and school districts to expand the agency's collaborative partnerships and improve coordination of services;
- Support MHAT Project Director in developing policies and procedures to gather and record client-level data related to program services and outcomes;
- Develop and manage spreadsheet to track all related program activities including community outreach, number of trainings held and when, number of attendees, etc.
This is a non-exempt position that requires specialized training in Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid evidence-based curriculum. If you have a strong background in social work, counseling, or a related field, we encourage you to apply.
Salary: $30.73 - $31.93/hour (DOE)
