Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Staff to join our team at the Mullen-Polk Foundation DBA Our Next Generation. This role involves providing mentorship, emotional support, and personal care to female-identified adolescents (ages 12-18) in a structured, home-like residential setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and supervision to all youth in care.
  • Administer daily medication(s) as needed.
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to the posted monthly menu(s).
  • Transport youth to and from activities, counseling, and other services.
  • Make telephone calls to confirm appointments and locate resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics as required by the agency, state, and other funding sources.

As an ideal candidate, you will possess effective communication and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in administrative tasks. Experience in residential care or a similar environment is preferred. Additionally, you must be able to pass a DCYF criminal history background check and meet agency driving requirements.
