Ecological Resources Program Manager

As an Ecological Resources Program Manager, you will undertake a diverse array of tasks focused on achieving successful project results and fostering the professional growth of the team.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing ecological projects, which includes preparing proposals, managing client relationships, coordinating with regulatory bodies, assessing jurisdictional waters, securing permits, and performing surveys for protected species.
  • Achieving targets related to safety, quality, human resources, financial management, and risk assessment.
  • Acting as a Community Advocate to boost S&ME's presence within the community.
  • Collaborating with project leaders and managers across various service lines to identify potential opportunities.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Sciences.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in wetland assessments, stream evaluations, environmental permitting, and ecological surveys.
  • Proven track record of effective team leadership and management.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in GIS.
  • Strong communication abilities.
