Position: Construction Project Supervisor

Contract Duration: 6 months

Role Overview:

The Construction Project Supervisor collaborates closely with the Project Manager to establish project goals that align with the defined scope, budget, and timeline.

This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with quality standards and the scope of work through regular site inspections.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing consistent progress updates for integration into the overall project schedule, facilitating variance analysis reporting.
  • Acting as the coordinator for the Project Safety program.
  • Working in conjunction with Regional and Branch Leadership to ensure the availability of necessary resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Addressing site conflicts related to work sequencing and unexpected conditions.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in risk management and the development of project recovery strategies, ensuring their effective implementation.
  • Maintaining compliance with project documentation controls as per contract specifications and company policies.
  • Ensuring that subcontractors fully comprehend project expectations and provide sufficient staffing to meet project demands.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of direct experience in project management coordination and supervisory roles.
  • Experience within the commercial and industrial construction sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, navigating a variety of challenges across different disciplines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as project locations may vary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Writer, and Visio.
