S&ME, Inc. is seeking a skilled Aviation Materials Project Supervisor who can utilize their project oversight abilities and expertise in construction materials to lead significant aviation and specialized projects throughout the Southeast. Our aviation division offers comprehensive Design, Construction Materials Testing, Geotechnical, and Environmental services to various airports across the southeast. We are committed to expanding our presence in the aviation sector, and the ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for aviation and embody our entrepreneurial spirit. You will play a crucial role in decision-making and project implementation, significantly influencing our firm's achievements in the aviation industry.


We are pleased to offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus along with relocation support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction Materials Management: Apply your expertise to oversee construction materials testing and management, ensuring the highest quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Strategy and Implementation: Direct the planning and execution of construction materials components within aviation projects. Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery, showcasing your strategic project management capabilities.
  • Financial and Resource Oversight: Manage project budgets and resources, enhancing efficiency while upholding quality standards. Your financial insight will be vital for project success.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as the primary contact for construction materials-related inquiries. Your communication skills will be essential for fostering positive collaborations.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in construction materials testing.
  • At least 1 year of demonstrated experience as a project manager, supervisor, or team leader.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities.
