Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Esri. As a key member of our telecommunications sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to drive growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement location strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of business opportunities, identifying new areas of growth and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
- Utilize social media and other channels to build your professional network and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to stay informed and network with industry professionals.
- Understand our customers' business drivers and identify key stakeholders.
- Use solution selling skills to understand customer needs and develop effective solutions.
- Learn and grow by staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Deliver results by successfully executing account management and sales processes.
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GIS, the telecommunications market, and new technology trends.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
- General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and telecom business needs as they relate to one another.
- Experience managing the sales life cycle.
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Master's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
