Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Commercial Account Team at Esri. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to improve the adoption of Esri technology among our customers in the Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, and Financial Services industries.

You will work closely with our team to develop and execute account management and sales strategies, leveraging your industry knowledge and expertise to drive business growth and customer success.

Responsibilities
  1. Build relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges.
  2. Develop and implement location strategies to drive business growth and customer success.
  3. Collaborate with our team to identify new areas of growth and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  4. Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  5. Use solution selling skills to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet their business challenges.
Requirements
  1. 1+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  2. Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  3. Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of GIS and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  5. Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
Recommended Qualifications
  1. Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries as they relate to one another.
  2. Experience managing the sales life cycle.
  3. General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations.

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy, and compensation decisions take into account many factors, including skill sets, experience, and training.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $66,560—$114,400 USD.
