Position Overview - The Junior Brand Strategist plays a crucial role in ensuring brand consistency and execution for Stella Rosa Wines and Brandy. This proactive team member will assist the Senior Brand Manager in content creation, social media oversight, competitive analysis, and strategic brand initiatives. Acting as a bridge between the Brand Team and Media Team, the Junior Brand Strategist is enthusiastic about Stella Rosa and is always seeking innovative ways to engage with both existing and potential consumers. They will develop, implement, and uphold brand standards across various platforms. This position requires onsite presence five days a week.

Key Responsibilities - Responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

  • Collaborate effectively with all marketing team members to provide necessary assets for campaign goals.
  • Regularly meet with the Brand Team, Media Team, Events Team, and Shopper Marketing to define and execute campaign strategies and deliverables.
  • Work closely with the digital media team, offering consistent updates for strategic geotargeting efforts.
  • Partner with the Media Team on all commercial and creative concept development, ensuring brand identity integrity during commercial photo shoots.
  • Conceive, create, and manage engaging content for all social media channels, maintaining brand identity.
  • Utilize the social marketing platform, Sprout, to strategically manage all Stella Rosa social media content calendars.
  • Prepare monthly content and advertising calendars.
  • Establish KPIs for all social media campaigns, both organic and paid, and monitor performance accordingly.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with influencers that align with brand values and initiatives.
  • Compile weekly sales, social, and digital reports, analyzing data and providing actionable insights for performance enhancement. Stay informed on industry trends and offer creative recommendations.
  • Deliver monthly summaries on social media performance and KPI outcomes.
  • Coordinate and plan social media shoots, developing mood boards and shot lists while managing communications with talent and locations.
  • Assist with brand events as needed to uphold brand identity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure strategies are aligned and progressing effectively.
  • Ensure brand concepts are consistent with brand strategies and identity.
  • Act as the subject matter expert, safeguarding brand identity for both existing and new brands.
  • Work alongside the Senior Brand Manager to collaborate, receive feedback, and ensure campaign direction is on track.
  • Maintain timelines for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Delegate tasks to team members as necessary to ensure progress toward deadlines.
  • Participate in trade shows and educational sessions to share expertise and inform peers about brand identity.
  • Influence and guide the Brand Coordinator and peers as the subject matter expert in Stella Rosa and Innovation brands.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to the Brand Coordinator.
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with the Brand team to assess campaign status, identify barriers, and escalate issues to Senior Brand Managers.
  • Support the development of brand presentations for various business facets: sales, retail, hospitality, events, etc.
  • Assist with various projects as needed within the Marketing Department.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Brand Manager or Brand Manager in the CPG sector, specifically in Food & Beverage/Wine & Spirits.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and ad management.
  • Understanding of design principles in brand marketing, with a focus on brand identity.
  • Comfortable with shooting and editing content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and copywriting communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to follow up and provide clear feedback when necessary.
  • Proficient in collaborating with all functional levels and business areas.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and agency partners.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Comfortable working in both in-person and mobile, interactive environments.
  • A flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and embrace challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive company information.
  • High emotional intelligence and the capability to navigate complex situations.
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive in ambiguous environments and focus on solutions.
  • Resourceful problem solver, capable of independently finding solutions.
  • Competent with reporting systems, Microsoft Office, Asana, Canva, etc.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • A portfolio is required for this role.
Compensation:

$75,000-$85,000 USD
