Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of construction sites and personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with plans and specifications.
  • Identify potential problems and develop appropriate resolutions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for all work completed.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or related role in the commercial construction industry.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and shop drawings.
  • Previous experience with managing and directing personnel.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, project scheduling/estimating software, and Construction Management software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for job sites.
