Job PurposeThe New England Electric Contract Administration & Performance Team is responsible for managing, supporting, and monitoring contracts and contractual relationships for outsourced complex and non-complex electric construction contracts. As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our annual electric capital construction workplan.
Key Responsibilities- Contract compliance, interpretation, monitoring, performance, and related systems and data analysis to ensure effective delivery of the annual electric capital construction workplan.
- Foster relationships with external contractors and internal stakeholders, including Construction, Project/Program Management, Procurement, Engineering, Safety, and Emergency Planning.
- Support development and review of construction specifications for framework contract RFPs, develop and refine KPIs, and review contracts and specifications for updates.
- Troubleshoot issues, address concerns, and present findings to stakeholders for Distribution, Transmission, Substation, Civil, and Matting categories of work.
- Support the New England External Line Resource Unit during weather events.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of experience in contracts, construction management, project management, or engineering within the electric utility industry required.
- 3-5 years of experience managing, coaching teams, and developing employees preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience making presentations to upper management preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in SAP Ariba Guided Buying preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in STORMS preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in PowerPlan preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Power BI, MS Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.
- Valid driver's license required.
