Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst will report directly to the Manager, Cloud Applications and will be a hybrid work model; working in the office a few days a week and from a home office a couple of days per week. This position works in partnership with Accounting & Finance, Operations, and Sales teams to deliver high-quality solutions for business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement and Automation
    • Serve as the liaison between Accounting/ Finance/ Operations and any third-party regarding Yardi/ ERP and Enquire/ CRM software functionality.
    • Analyze and document business processes. Assess their impact on existing systems.
    • Define and/or collect, understand, and transmit the business requirements for projects and translate these into functional specifications.
    • Design and develop Excel/ SQL-based reports in accordance with set methodologies.
    • Quality control and testing.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot day-to-day management of the system(s).
    • Assist with systems upgrades, plug-ins, and migrations.
    • Design, execute, and document test scenarios and test scripts as necessary.
    • Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding Company information and ensure proper destruction of confidential documents.
  • Technical
    • Minimum 1 year experience with RDBMS required; 3 years preferred.
    • Knowledge of SQL language.
    • Excellent skills in MS Office suite.
    • Experience with Software Development Life Cycles.
  • Attitude
    • Ability to define, propose, and execute process improvement projects.
    • A desire to learn established and emerging technologies to satisfy business needs.
    • Ability to multitask and field priorities.
    • Fast learner.
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Professional Aptitude:
    • Analysis of financial systems experience preferred (Accounts Payable, Receivable, Billing/Invoicing).
    • 3 years' experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes and developing business requirement specifications for Information Systems.
    • Ability to understand and apply technical concepts.
    • Understanding of senior living/healthcare industry.
