Position Overview:

As a Stock Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all facets of inventory oversight within our organization. Your main goal will be to maintain precise stock levels, reduce instances of stock shortages, enhance inventory turnover, and support the overall operational efficiency and profitability of the company. This position demands exceptional organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the analytical skills necessary to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead the inventory management team, focusing on recruitment, training, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments including Retail, Operations, Production, Digital Marketing, and E-Commerce.
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for all inventory-related processes.

Inventory and Logistics Coordination:

  • Oversee the logistics of sales, repairs, purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and SKU management.
  • Anticipate supply and demand needs to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Manage and track incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Generate and assess reports to evaluate inventory metrics and team performance.
  • Prepare necessary shipping documentation, including labels and customs paperwork.
  • Maintain an organized storage system for accessories, certificates, supplies, and packaging materials.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with the Procurement team to replenish inventory as required.
  • Develop, implement, and document inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock records throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
  • Keep detailed records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory logs.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in a similar inventory management role.
  • Experience in wholesale, retail, or luxury goods is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management practices, including cycle counting and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes.
  • Proficient in G-suite, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), CRM, and inventory management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management capabilities.
  • Experience in the jewelry sector is a plus.
