Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Run and inspect production tasks of simple to medium complexity according to setup sheets and work instructions.
  • Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality specifications and complete paperwork using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Product Inspection: Start machines to produce sample products and measure them for conformance with specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect wire or tube samples using a microscope with 20x magnification.
  • Process Optimization: Adjust settings of dies on controls to meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Machine Monitoring: Observe machine operations for malfunctions and inspect products for defects.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete applicable job paperwork and daily production reports.
  • Safety and Compliance: Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work safely.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focus on quality and minimize scrap, Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs), and paperwork errors.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Team Collaboration: Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and adhere to company policies and safe labor practices.
