POSITION SUMMARY:

The Culinary Service Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to all patrons in a timely, courteous, and professional manner, upholding the highest standards of guest service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides prompt and efficient service of food and beverages to guests, adhering to the established venue standards.
  • Handles all aspects of guest service, including taking and fulfilling food and drink orders while ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized.
  • Processes payments from guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Follows established cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes the point-of-sale system to provide accurate pricing, process transactions, and maintain accountability for all sales.
  • Clears and resets tables for new guests, ensuring compliance with venue standards to enhance the dining experience.
  • Maintains cleanliness of side stations, ensuring adequate supplies of dishes, utensils, and other necessary items.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and directs them to management when necessary.
  • Monitors guest alcohol consumption and takes appropriate actions as needed.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Ensures sight lines are kept neat and organized.
  • Performs cleaning duties as required.
  • Serves ice water to guests as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents, including policy manuals and maintenance instructions. Ability to respond to common inquiries from guests and staff.

MATH SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers and fractions.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to use their hands to handle objects, reach with arms, and communicate effectively. Employees frequently stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
