Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Events and Food and Beverage Director and Food and Beverage Managers.
Job Summary:
The PM Server is responsible for warmly welcoming and serving guests at designated service areas from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM, ensuring a memorable hospitality experience.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in fine dining within a restaurant or club environment.
- Familiarity with fine dining service protocols.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Experience in proper wine service.
- Understanding of craft cocktails, beers, and various spirits.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, squat, lift, and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds over distances.
- Completion of Responsible Beverage Server Training Course is required.
- Strong math, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Positive communication skills with guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the opening checklist to ensure all service areas are prepared.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed by management.
- Review tee sheets and daily events for accurate charging information and table setups.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor and greet guests upon arrival.
- Anticipate and promptly respond to guests' needs.
- Stay informed about current menu items, allergens, daily specials, and variations.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through table touches.
- Learn about specialty cocktails, wines, and spirits offered at various locations.
- Prepare mixed drinks, beer, and wine accurately while adhering to portion control standards.
- Handle all payment transactions accurately.
- Address guest complaints or issues with a positive demeanor.
- Communicate effectively about the history, products, and services of Erin Hills.
- Maintain respectful and professional radio communication.
- Follow safety regulations as outlined by Erin Hills and OSHA.
- Verify guests' identification to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Politely refuse service to guests who appear overly intoxicated and notify management.
- Adhere to sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Follow guidelines set forth in the Erin Hills Employee Handbook.
