POSITION SUMMARY:

The Culinary Service Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to all patrons in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides timely and friendly service of food and beverages to guests, adhering to established venue standards.
  • Handles guest requests efficiently, including taking and fulfilling food and drink orders while maintaining a clean dining environment.
  • Processes payments from guests accurately and courteously.
  • Follows established cash handling procedures and policies.
  • Utilizes the point-of-sale system effectively, ensuring accurate pricing and change distribution while managing cash and credit transactions according to company guidelines.
  • Clears and resets tables for new guests, ensuring compliance with venue standards for table settings.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of side stations, ensuring adequate stock of dishes, utensils, and supplies.
  • Addresses guest inquiries and directs them to management when necessary.
  • Monitors guest alcohol consumption responsibly.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Ensures sight lines are organized and tidy.
  • Performs cleaning duties as required, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Serves ice water to guests as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

EDUCATION:

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.

SKILLS:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents, including policy manuals and maintenance instructions. Ability to respond to common inquiries from guests and staff.

MATH SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers and fractions.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands of this position require regular use of hands for handling objects, reaching, and effective communication. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.

Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally more than 75 pounds.
