POSITION SUMMARY:

The Food Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to all patrons in a timely, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide prompt and efficient service of food and beverages to guests, adhering to established venue standards.
  • Perform essential tasks to assist guests, including taking and fulfilling food and drink orders while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
  • Process payments from guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Follow established cash handling policies and procedures diligently.
  • Utilize the point-of-sale system accurately, ensuring correct pricing, change, and accounting for all transactions.
  • Clear and reset tables for new guests, ensuring compliance with venue standards for a pleasant dining atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of side stations, ensuring adequate supplies of dishes, silverware, and other necessary items.
  • Address guest inquiries and direct them to management when necessary.
  • Monitor and manage guest alcohol consumption responsibly.
  • Exhibit professional grooming and appearance at all times.
  • Keep sight lines organized and tidy.
  • Perform cleaning duties as needed, including sweeping or mopping.
  • Serve ice water as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.

SKILLS:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy manuals and maintenance instructions. Ability to respond to common inquiries from guests or other employees.

MATH SKILLS:

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. The employee frequently stands and walks. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
