Position: Business Office Manager

The Business Office Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the comprehensive accounting and administrative functions in alignment with applicable Federal, State, and local standards, as well as directives from the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage localized accounting tasks for the community, including billing for Assisted Living residents, coding, and completing necessary forms for accounts payable, ensuring all expenses are accurately assigned to the correct general ledger and department codes.
  • Handle Human Resources and Payroll responsibilities, including processing new hire documentation and timecard adjustments, while ensuring compliance with state-mandated continuing education requirements.
  • Oversee the processing of all community deposits.
  • Reconcile vendor account statements to guarantee the accuracy and promptness of payments.
  • Prepare new lease documentation for the Executive Director.
  • Review accounts receivable and assist in collection efforts, including communication with residents and responsible parties.
  • Engage with residents and their families, addressing concerns and resolving issues related to business office operations.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree in business, management, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, and office management is essential.
  • Familiarity with OneSite / Real Page is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is required.
