About the Role:

Our client, a prominent leader in providing cutting-edge energy solutions for industrial sectors, is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer. This pivotal position reports directly to the regional CEO and entails up to 30% travel across various US operations, overseeing a dynamic and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Formulate and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and growth trajectories.
  • Serve as a strategic consultant to the CEO and executive leadership on all HR-related issues.
  • Direct and facilitate organizational planning to support growth and enhance workforce efficiency.

Talent Acquisition and Management:

  • Lead recruitment initiatives to attract high-caliber talent and foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Establish comprehensive talent management frameworks, encompassing onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and succession planning.
  • Initiate programs aimed at improving employee retention, career advancement, and leadership development.

Employee Relations and Compliance:

  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that prioritizes employee well-being.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, proactively addressing potential issues and mitigating risks.
  • Manage employee relations concerns, conflict resolution, and investigations as necessary.

  • Manage and evaluate HR KPIs as part of the company's commitment to lean management principles.

Employee Engagement and Culture:

  • Design and execute strategies to boost employee engagement.
  • Foster a robust company culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • A proven history of developing and executing HR strategies that yield business outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of US employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in leading large-scale organizational change and transformation projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • SHRM certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP or SPHR) is preferred.
